- Powerful Electronics - In place of the more traditional Alnico magnet humbuckers, Music Man have opted for Neodymium magnets in their StingRay Special HH lineup, which has a much stronger magnetic pull than Alnico for a much more articulate sound. Not only that, but these pickups are complimented by an 18v active preamp, to deliver the most powerful StingRay sounds ever, and a 5-way pickup selector to deliver an array of different StingRay voices
- Reliable Hardware - delivering an ultra-secure playing experience, whilst at the same time being designed to compliment the StingRay Special's lightweight design, you'll find an all-new set of tuning machines with tapered posts. At the other end of the bass there is a vintage Music Man top-loaded streel bridge plate, which works to maximise string vibrational transference and natural sustain
