Lightweight And Reliable
The eloquent double-cutaway body on this guitar has been crafted from lightweight Okoume (commonly referred to as West African Mahogany) and is perfectly balanced for extreme playing comfort.
In addition to this, this particular model also features a Quilted Maple top, that's been given a Cherry Burst finish, resulting in stunning aesthetics to match its incredible tone.
As if that wasn't enough, the premium roasted maple neck is gorgeously figured, durable, and has been carved with a soft "V" profile that is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.
Custom Designed Signature Pickups
A key aspect of all Steve Lukather signature guitars - from his very first, to his latest - is the incredible tones generated by his choice of pickups.
In this case, Music Man have gone with a pair of Single Coil pickups at the middle and neck positions, both of which feature a wide spectrum Silent Circuit for a noise-free playing experience.
Complimenting these pickups is a bridge position, custom-wound Humbucker, that offers clear highs and a well-defined low end.
Altogether, these pickups offer a huge array of tonal options that range from classic Single Coil "twang", through to PAF-like aggression.
As if that wasn't enough, the Volume control pot features a Push/Pull boost function, which gives you an extra 12 dB of headroom to play around with, which is perfect for solos.
Premium-Grade Hardware
Bringing all of this together and helping it function as only a Music Man Luke guitar can is an array of high-quality, ultra-reliable hardware, including a set of locking tuners and a vintage-style floating tremolo.
The Schaller locking tuners, for example, not only offer superb levels of tuning stability, but they also allow for fast and easy string changes when needed too.
In addition to this, the Floating Vintage Tremolo bridge allows you to add subtle-to-outrageous pitch bends to your playing, and sports adjustable saddles for pin-point intonation.
