    Overview
    The Mesa Boogie 5:25+ is the perfect choice if you're in the market for the ultimate compact, do-it-all combo, but can't quite stretch to the dizzying costs of their Mark V combo. New to the Plus model, this features a re-engineered clean mode that incorporates some of Mesa's Lone Star circuitry, and promises both additional sparkle in the high-end and a warmer low-end, with a "significantly better" signal- to-noise ratio. It makes the most of Mesa's Multi-Watt technology - 5w, 15w or 25 watt can be selected independently for each channel. Each option actually reconfigures the elements of the power amp section so that you aren't just running a 25w amp attenuated to 5w but you can get the proper feel and tone of a dedicated 5w amp complete with the smooth and rich Class A electronics. Also new to the front panel is the 5-band master EQ and contour/depth controls to further enhance and fine-tune your sound. The Graphic EQ and Volume controls are footswitchable, so you can have the convenience of a stompbox at your mercy without the unwanted gain & character modification when using traditional boost pedals. With the 5:25's output aided by Mesa's propriety Dyna-Watt technology, it punches well above its weight in terms of volume.
