The Meinl Standard 5A Wood Tip Drumsticks are designed to suit numerous musical styles. They offer a full tonal response with great clarity and articulation.
Hickory 5A Wood Tip
The 5A Wood Tip from Meinl is part of the Standard range of sticks. Covering the most popular sizes and specifications, the Standard series consists of drumsticks that were designed to suit many playing styles.
Featuring the traditional length and diameter of 5A sticks, the Meinl Standard 5A is 16” in length and has a diameter of .565”. Favoured by many drummers for its great balance and responsiveness.
All sticks in the Standard range feature an Acorn wood tip for a large contact surface area. The result is a full tonal response on cymbals and drums with clear articulation.
These Meinl 5A sticks are constructed using Medium Hickory for a robust, durable stick.
With its traditional size, feel and response, the Meinl 5A is ideal for various musical styles offering a robust tone with great sticking clarity and durable Hickory construction.
The Standard Series is also available in 7A and 5B options.
