Hybrid Hickory 5A Wood Tip
The Meinl Hybrid range of drumsticks was designed with diverse drummers in mind. Intended to serve drummers who play in multiple band situations and a wide range of musical styles and genres.
If you need a stick that will help you transfer seamlessly from Medium rock to smooth jazz, and everything in between, the Hybrid range has you covered.
The 5A Hybrid sticks have a standard .565” diameter and slightlty longer 16.25” length. The additional length combined with a long taper result in a stick that provides a quick response with a greater rebound, ideal for fast chops and deep grooves.
The Meinl Hybrid 5A sticks are constructed from medium Hickory for a robust, durable drumstick.
The key feature of the Hybrid stick range is the wood tip. Designed to combine an acorn tip and a classic barrel tip, the Hybrid range features an acorn shape that is trimmed down to the barrel size. The result is a wood tip that offers a dark tone with smooth articulation on cymbals.
With its Hybrid tip, smooth response, and quick rebound, the 5A Hybrid Drumsticks are an ideal choice if you want to play numerous musical styles without needing to change sticks.
