Concert SD2 Wood Tip
The Concert range of drumsticks from Meinl was designed to offer easy control.
The Meinl Concert SD2 drumsticks offer a large stick size with a reduced weight. Featuring a .630” diameter these sticks are slightly bigger than a 2B and have a standard 16” length.
Despite their large size, the Concert SD2 sticks are very light weight thanks to their Medium-Light Maple construction. The result is a chunky drumstick that’s light and easy to control with full dynamic range, making it perfect for various musical situations.
These drumsticks also feature a longer taper which serves to provide a quick rebound.
The Concert SD2 drumsticks have been designed with a barrel tip to provide a woody stick definition that offers fewer mid-range overtones on cymbals than traditional round ball tips.
If you like the feel of bigger drumsticks but don’t like the large weight that typically comes with them, the Meinl Concert SD2 provide a great alternative. With a lightweight feel, robust size, ease of control allowing for full dynamic range, and barrel tip for clear stick definition.
