Expertly Matched Tonewoods
The lab coats at Martin have figured out that Solid Spruce and Granadillo back and sides deliver a pure acoustic experience with this Martin 000-16E Granadillo. You'll notice that the rounded bass works in conjunction with warm mids and crisp highs.
The 000-14 Fret body is sizable enough that it doesn't lose any low-end, especially if your forte is strumming. And for the fingerpicker in you, the mids and highs project a sweetness and clarity that will carry across the room.
All encompassed in a gloss top and delicate back and sides Satin Finish.
What's more, Martin designed X-bracing supports volume and dynamics throughout the 000-16E.
Comfortable and Smooth Neck
With your fretting hand, you'll notice this guitar's neck made from Modified Low Oval neck. Comfortable in the hand and easy to move graciously up and down with ease. changing chords has never been this easy.
On the headstock end of the neck, vintage-styled Nickel Open Gear tuners hold the guitar and tune and can be easily changed for all those alternative tunings.
Fishman Matrix VT Enhance Electronics
For all you performers out there, this Martin 000-16E Granadillo Acoustic comes fitted with a Fishman Matrix VT Enhance Electronics Pickup and Preamp.
You'll be able to hear the guitars natural sound resonate through a PA or Acoustic amp, with the minimal of tweaking. The undersaddle pickup blends with a soundhole pickup bringing out the natural dynamics and richness of the instrument.
