The Marshall JVM205C combo pays homage to the renowned Marshall amps of yesteryear - with a 2x12" Celestion speaker configuration, 50 watt all-tube output and 2 switchable channels that offers a far reaching tone that covers all bases. Six performance modes combine with three gain stages and flexible onstage switching courtesy of a 4-way footswitch included to make the JVM205C an extremely playable, versatile amplifier.
Fire up the beast on Channel 1, and you'll be rewarded with a delightfully glassy, British Clean/Crunch tone that works wonders thanks to a Celestion Vintage / Heritage speaker pairing. Hit the switch and you'll be treated to a soaring Overdrive channel, each with 3-band EQ and independent Volume and Gain controls to craft the perfect tone. Of course, the beauty of this configuration is that you can easily dial in these tones and everything in-between, and access them with the touch of a footswitch. The included footswitch works well not only for channel switching, but for activation of the studio-quality digital reverb that really opens up the ambience and turns on the style.
Two effects loops - one series, and one parallel for smooth integration with your pedalboard setup. When on Standby, the JVM2's emulated XLR output is fully operational, allowing you to record in total silence - a godsend for those late night recording sessions!
