The Marshall 1959HW Guitar Tube Amplifier Head features the distinctive Plexiglas front panel design and the oversized, custom-built, "drop-through" mains transformer that helped define the early 1960's golden era of rock and roll tone. Harking back to the origins of Marshall's extensive backline amp design, the 1959HW delivers sweet, rich lead tones with lots of projection and combines perfectly with the 1960AHW and 1960BHW cabinets for a full-range rig that works in any performance size or venue.
This handwired re-issue takes the best of both the early and late Plexi designs and combines them into one versatile, powerful head with the looks that vintage players will appreciate.
