The Mapex Tri-tonal Beater offers 3 sound options in 1 beater. No need to carry around 3 separate beaters when you have the tri-tonal.
3-In-1 Beater
Mapex have designed a bass drum beater that compacts 3 different sound options into one beater. The three-sided pedal beater features a maple wood side, a felt side and an ABS plastic side, offering you the option to quickly and easily change your bass pedal sound as and when you want to.
The wooden maple side will offer a warm, full sound, similar to the sound of a drumstick hitting the kick drum. The felt side offers a much softer sound, while the hard plastic side is ideal for lots of attack and punch.
Twist the Sound
Traditionally to a achieve a different pedal sound you would need to switch out the beater to an entirely new one. With the Mapex Tri-tonal beater, all you need to do is loosen the beater from the pedal and twist it so that your desired option is facing the batter head. Then you’re good to go. Perfect for quick changes mid gig or in the studio.
Less To Carry
Having a compact option of 3 different tones in one beater means that you don’t need to carry a range of various beaters with you to gigs, practice or the studio. This makes the Tri-tonal perfect if you’re experimenting with different sounds for a new song, or trying to achieve a specific sound in the studio.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.

- Special/Custom Orders - Any order that is custom or has been personalised.
- Products with Hygiene Seals - Microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have broken the hygienic seal on the packaging.
- Software & Media - Any software or media that has been opened or registered via physical or digital means.
- Any product containing a valve, e.g valve amps are only covered for 90 days from purchase.
