The Latin Percussion Large One Shot Shaker Pair features a unique patented design which has only one striking area within the shaker. This allows forward playing without triggering sound on the back stroke, which enables percussionist to easily create a diverse playing style from simple to complex rhythms.
LP Large One Shot Shaker
As the name suggests, this LP shaker has only one striking surface.
Whereas most shakers utilise both sides of the interior to create sound on the down stroke as well as the upstroke, i.e. creating sound on the forwards and backwards motion, the LP One Shot Shaker doesn’t.
Instead this shaker uses a patented design which only enables sound on the forward or down-stroke motion, without creating a shadow or “ghost” stroke sound on the reverse movement.
The result is a shaker that can simplify complex playing to deliver stripped down shaker patterns or can be utilised to create more diverse intricate percussion playing.
