Kronos 2 is back - better than ever!
The beautifully redesigned new Kronos 2 SE features an expanded SGX-2 piano engine, adding a gorgeous 9GB Berlin grand with dedicated una corda (soft pedal) samples, plus sympathetic string resonance that also works with the revered Kronos German, Japanese, and optional Austrian grand pianos.
An improved Set List mode offers users the capability to color-code Set List slots, and resize their custom text either onscreen or via an external USB keyboard. Hundreds of new sounds have been added to Kronos 2, all easily identified by famous song titles.
Add one-cable USB DAW integration for MIDI and Audio, system-wide Touch/Drag via Kronos’ huge color TouchView screen, powerful effects processing with up to 16 effects at a time, a 16 MIDI/16 Audio track sequencer, 16-part Combinations, a tremendous assortment of real time controllers, legendary KARMA phrase generating technology, vector control, and a brand new look featuring real wood end caps, and you have an unrivaled instrument for production and performance today, tomorrow, and beyond.

KApro Sound Library
KApro has been a provider of premium sounds for flagship hardware synthesizers and workstations like the KORG KRONOS. KApro have been renowned for excelling in symphonic and orchestral sample based libraries. Kronos 2 73 Special Edition comes pre-loaded with these libraries as standard - a showcase of sounds from KApro, who has developed more than 100 titles of Korg sound libraries.
The KAPro library includes orchestral strings that sing with emotion, as well as brass, woodwinds, choir, and phrases, opening up a new creative range for professional sound design and film scoring.

Weighted Hammer Action Keybed
The 73-key KRONOS models use KORG’s finest RH-3 Real Weighted Hammer Action. Offering an authentic and accurate piano feel, there are four zones, ranging from heavier to lighter, to provide a more true piano playing experience. The 73-note model is ideally sized to fit on any standard X-Stand. The KRONOS achieves the perfect balance of functionality and design.
