This hand-crafted, premium-grade, boutique metal distortion pedal from KMA Audio Machines is the ultimate in dark, high-gain distortion, with as much tonal diversity as even the pickiest of tone-hounds could want.
Active 4-Band EQ, Internal Trim Pots and DIP Switch for Fine-Tuning
Influenced largely by the now-out-of-production HM-2 MIJ stompbox, KMA Audio Machines have fitted an impressive array of fine-tuning capabilities to the circuitry, allowing the WURM to produce a huge variety of distortion sounds, with the capability to make it as dark and evil sounding as you could want it to be.
Active Four Band EQ
In addition to the Volume (output level) and Terror (level of evil) pots on the WURM, you also get an awesome 4-band EQ, with controls for Lows, Low Mids, High Mids and Highs helping you sculpt that perfect tone for your guitar.
Further Fine Tuning
The fun doesn't stop there though. Under the chassis there's more tuning possibilities, as you can shift the centre frequency of each EQ's bandpass with the appropriate trim pot, and even activate/deactivate the classic HM2 EQ for the high mids to give you that famed Swedish Chainsaw sound made famous by bands such as Dismember and Entombed. All in all the WURM is easilly one of the most versatile metal distortion pedals on the market.
Handmade Boutique Construction
Each and every KMA Audio Machines pedal is designed, assembled, silkscreened, tested, and numbered, by hand in a small Berlin workshop. Despite the premium-grade components and boutique construction though, pedals like the WURM remain an affordable option for most working musicians and tone enthusiasts alike.
