Handmade Boutique Construction, with 3-Band Active EQ
The famous Russian Muff circuitry within the Dead Stag has had it's simple Tone Control replaced with an awesome, active 3-band EQ with parametric mids. This means that not only can you still achieve that classic 70's scooped-mid Fuzz tone that the Muffs are famous for, but you now have the added option of including 90s style mid & bass boosts in the mix.
Bags of Fun New Features
Featuring not only the aforementioned 3-band EQ, but also a Gain Range switch that allows you to move between High and Low, a Shape switch that gives you the option of a Soft, Round or Aggressive tone, and an internal Q:Bandwidth control that lets you widen or narrow the bandwitch of the EQ's mids, the Dead Stagg is arguably one of the most versatile fuzz pedals on the market.
Gain & Mid-Boost Switches
In addition to the control knobs you have two wonderful toggle switches. These allow you to choose between High/Low Gain levels, with the other switch working as a high-mid boost circuit that allows you to choose between a smooth or sharp gradient.
