Crafting the Monarkh SCX
Mahogany has been used for the body of the Monarkh SCX with its familiar single cutaway design allowing for easy reach of the upper frets - great for solos.
Via set-neck construction, a 1-piece Maple neck joins the body of the guitar and features graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint ensuring rock solid stability while pearloid sharkfin inlays add that awesome Jackson style.
Atop the neck is a classic Rosewood fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and a 12" - 16" compound radius.
The compound radius has the fingerboard curving more dramatically at the nut to make holding chords easier while it flattens out on approaching the neck joint for great low-action bends without fretting out.
For an extra layer of visual appeal, the body of the X Series Monarkh has been capped with an elegantly arched Flame Maple top.
Awesome Electronics and Quality Hardware
Giving the Jackson Monarkh its great tone is a pair of Jackson High-Output Humbucking pickups. Generating complex tones for pristinely clean melody lines or punchy distortion while keeping the clarity of your notes, these pickups are suitable for all manner of styles.
A three-way toggle allows you to choose how you want to use your pickups – either the bridge or neck pickups individually or both together.
There’s also separate volume knobs for each pickup and a tone control so you can quickly and easily dial-in the sounds you’re looking for.
A fully adjustable radius compensated TOM-style bridge is installed on the body of the Monarkh and provides perfect intonation across the entire length of the neck so even the most complex of chords ring true.
The anchored tailpiece and die-cast tuning machines work together to ensure great tuning stability across all your strings.
