The first thing you might notice about the Jackson Spectra Bass, apart from its fantastic Alien Burst finish, is its new body design.
Not only does this new body shape look great, it enhances your performance too.
The offset Poplar body is extremely comfortable to hold, with its large upper horn aiding even weight distribution.
As a result, you get a perfectly balanced bass guitar with neck dive virtually eliminated.
In turn, this improves playing comfort so you can play better for longer.
Highly Playable Speed Neck
A reliable combination of bolt-on construction and a scarf joint connect a 35" scale length Maple neck to the body, increasing sustain.
With its speed neck contour and satin finish, the Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass's neck is incredible smooth and allows for incredibly fast playing.
Atop the neck is a 12" - 16" compound radius Laurel fretboard, providing the optimum surface across the length of the entire neck.
24 jumbo frets offer easy playability while simple white dot position inlays guide the way.
Versatile Electronics
A pair of Jackson medium-output humbuckers are the driving force behind the powerful voice of the Jackson Spectra 5-string bass making it suitable for virtually any genre.
A two-way switch allows you to split the coils of the humbucking pickups to give you two distinct voices to play with.
Using the Blend knob, you can set the perfect balance between the two pickups to meet your demands.
The Volume control also acts as a Push/Pull selector so you can choose between Active and Passive modes.
Switch over to Active and you then open up use of the built-in 3-band EQ so you can really sculpt your sound to perfection.
High Quality Hardware
A Jackson HiMass bridge fitted to the body of the Spectra 5-string bass guitar ensures rock-solid tuning stability and precise intonation along with improved sustain and more pronounced tone.
The unique Jackson 3x2 (three over, two under) headstock holds five Jackson sealed die-cast tuners offering precise tuning.
The hardware is black nickel throughout, offering great looks and road-worthy reliability.
