Built for Performance
The body of the 5-string David Ellefson signature bass guitar has been made from resonant poplar for enhanced tone.
The shape of the Concert Bass enhances comfort and playability.
An upper contour aids pick and fingerstyle bass playing while a lower contour makes it easy and comfortable to rest the David Ellefson signature 5-string bass guitar on your knee.
Highly Playable Neck
Sturdy bolt-on construction attaches a 35" scale Maple neck to this 5-string bass guitar's body.
A satin finish on this neck allows for smooth, comfortable and speedy performance.
Graphite reinforcement protects the neck against warping due to temperature and humidity changes.
A 12" - 16" compound radius Maple fretboard sits atop the neck, providing you with the optimum playing platform for fast and articulate bass playing.
What's more, a truss rod thumbwheel has been conveniently placed at the base of the neck and offers quick and easy neck adjustments.
Versatile Electronics
The combination of a split coil EMG PHZ neck pickup and EMG JHZ bridge pickup gives you fantastic tonal versatility.
Using the David Ellefson signature bass's Blend control, you can get the perfect balance between both pickups.
An active three-band EQ is also present, allowing you to shape this Megadeth bass guitar's incredible sound to your own personal preference.
High Quality Hardware
A Jackson HiMass bridge is installed and offers precise intonation and improved sustain.
Up on the all-new Jackson paddle pointed 4x1 headstock, you'll find the familiar "Radiation" logo along with five Jackson sealed die-cast tuners providing precise and secure tuning.
For the final seal of quality and approval, David Ellefson's signature can be found embossed on the truss rod cover.
