Building the JS22 DKA
Poplar has been used for the body of the JS22, which keeps the JS22 DKA at a light weight which is ideal for lively onstage performance.
With its double cutaway design, the Jackson Dinky style body gives you easy access to all 24 frets; essential for huge guitar solos.
Graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint ensure an ultra-secure neck that is highly resistant to warping.
Plus, thanks to the bolt-on construction, you get increased control, attack and sustain.
Adding to its playability, this Maple speed neck features a 12” – 16” compound radius fretboard.
A feature pioneered by Jackson guitars, this fretboard provides you with a more rounded profile at the nut while flattening out towards the neck heel.
Because of this, chording is easier and more comfortable while lead guitar and performing deep bends higher up the neck is a breeze.
High Output Humbucking Pickups
Fitted with dual Jackson High Output Humbuckers, this JS Series Dinky Arch Top gives you classic Jackson tone.
Powered by ceramic magnets, these pickups have nicely clear tone that’s capable of chunky riffs and searing lead guitar.
Using the three-way pickup selector switch you can choose between using both pickups at once or either one individually.
Further sonic shaping is made easy with the Master Volume and Master Tone controls.
