Building the JS22 DKA
Nato has been used for the body of the JS22, with its light weight making this guitar very easy to carry.
The body boasts a hand-rubbed oil finish that beautifully shows off the grain of the wood for a visually distinctive and very unique guitar.
Because of the Jackson Dinky style double cutaway body, you get easy access to all 24 frets, which is great for performing guitar solos.
Giving you incredibly secure performance while keeping it resistant to warping, the Maple speed neck boasts graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint.
Furthermore, with its bolt-on construction, you get increased attack, sustain and control from the JS22 DKA.
A Jackson pioneered feature, the JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS22 DKA features a compound radius fretboard.
Made from Amaranth, this fretboard has a 12” – 16” compound radius which makes it ideal for rhythm and lead guitar performance.
It goes from a more rounded profile at the nut while becoming flatter towards the neck heel so you get the perfect shape wherever your fretting hand goes.
High Output Humbucking Pickups
Dual Jackson High Output Humbuckers provide you with all the awesome Jackson tone you need.
Driven by ceramic magnets, these humbucking pickups boast powerful and clear tone.
Using the three-way pickup selector, you can choose between using either pickup or both at once.
You can further shape your sound quickly and easily with the Master Volume and Master Tone knobs.
High Quality Black Hardware
In stark, but beautiful, contrast to the natural finish of this JS22 DKA, the hardware is black throughout – right down to the strap buttons.
Fitted to the headstock are six sealed die-cast tuning machines providing secure tuning of your strings.
A 2-point fulcrum tremolo bridge can be found on the body, providing precise intonation and increased sustain along with great tremolo action performance.
