Amazing Control of Your Delay
With the APE pedal, J Rockett have created a unique design to deliver a faithful recreation of a vintage Echoplex tape delay's analogue section.
The J Rockett APE is much more than a simple preamp, providing yu with an entire analogue circuit from input to output and even gives you the sonic influence of the tape heads in your sound.
You can use any delay pedal you want with the J Rockett APE and get that same awesome preamp, enhancing your effect.
Great Features
The J Rockett APE can be configured in different ways to get the most out of your delay pedals and give you the sound you want, making it incredibly vbersatile.
Three knobs and two switches on the face of the J.Rockett APE give you full control over your sound.
With your favourite digital delay inserted into the loop, the Mix knob on the J.Rockett APE allows you to control the wet/dry mix level.
As the name suggests, with the Repeats knob, you can control the repeats from your delay pedal.
Using the Rec knob, you can control the gain on any delayed notes coming from your digital delay pedal in the loop.
The footswitch on the right allows you to engage the APE while the footswitch on the left is for engaging whatever you have running through the loop.
Versatile Power Options
The J Rockett APE runs at 22.5v just like the original vintage tape delay it's based on.
For convenience, J Rockett have made the APE with a DC to DC converter. This means you can power it with a standard 2.1/5.5mm 9v power supply, just like most other pedals on the market, and still get the full 22.5v performance.
