The 2019 Ibanez SRMD200 'Mezzo' Bass inherits over 30 years of SoundGear and Roadstar bass designs, and condenses them into a shorter scale (32") variation and some striking new finishes.
Medium Scale Bass with a Modern Touch
As well as a medium scale neck, the SRMD200 Mezzo Bass Guitar utilises a Split/Single Coil Dynamix P/J Pickup configuration, solid poplar body and ample fretboard for a punchy, transient bass for any situation. It's been designed with comfort in mind, whilst still delivering thunderous low end for home, live or studio use.
A double-cutaway body offers effortless playability on the upper frets. Combine this with a Custom Ibanez 2-Band EQ Electronic system and you've got a versatile axe, perfect for bass players that enjoy runs up and down the frequency spectrum.

The SRMD200 features a Poplar body, stunning new finish and a newly-designed pickguard. A smooth Maple neck and Maple fretboard with medium frets allow for a clear tone and attack.
Custom Electronics
Electronics consist of an Ibanez Custom Electronics 2-band EQ and an Ibanez DXP neck pickup and DXJ bridge pickup for extra punch. The B10 bridge allows fully adjustable intonation and solid tuning stability.
The SRMD200 Mezzo bass is the latest installment in the ongoing legacy of the Ibanez SR Bass. A truly well-rounded bass, priced for any level of player.
