The double cutaway body of the Ibanez SRMD200 Mezzo bass not only looks great it aids playability.
With nothing in the way, it's easy for you to reach the upper frets.
Fitted to the body is a B10 bridge which is fully adjustable to get perfect intonation while providing great tuning stability.
The maple neck has a 32" scale length so it's easier to play than the standard 34" necks usually found on Ibanez SR basses.
Atop the neck is a smooth feeling maple fretboard holding 22 medium frets for great all-around playability.
Versatile Electronics
Powering the Ibanez SRMD200 Mezzo Bass Guitar's voice are two single-coil pickups.
A Dynamix DXJ jazz bass style pickup in the bridge position is complemented by a split-coil Dynamix DXP p-bass style pickup.
Together, these pickups offer a great range of tones.
In addition to the volume and balancer knobs, you'll also find Ibanez Custom Electronics 2-band EQ onboard allowing you to really shape your tone to perfection.
