Ready To Rock
Not only does the Ibanez RGDR4427FX's striking body fit the aesthetic of metal and hard rock performance, it aids your playing too.
The contoured horn cuts give you incredible access to the upper frets with their taper vastly improving your comfort while you play.
A piece of lightweight Ash has been used to form the body but, in a departure from the norm, some environmentally-friendly Richlite has been used for the top.
Attached to the body is an ultra-thin, 5-piece maple and wenge Wizard-7 neck which gives you lighting-fast playability with incredible stability.
It is topped with a bound Macassar ebony fretboard which features jumbo frets boasting a Prestige fret edge treatment for incredibly smooth performance.
Powerfully Voiced
The Ibanez RGDR4427FX's awesome tonal options originate from its incredible pickups - two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers!
Developed in collaboration with Ibanez, these humbuckers produce crisp and cutting high end along with tight, compressed low end without muddy mid-range.
A three-way toggle witch allows you to choose between using either pickup individually or both at once.
Top Notch Hardware
On the body of the Ibanez RGDR4427FX Prestige 7-string guitar, you'll find a Mono Rail bridge offering precise intonation and maximum levels of vibrational transferrence to the guitar's body.
In addition to this, a set of Gotoh locking machine heads work perfectly alongside the Mono Rail bridge to ensure unbeatable tuning stability.
Built into the neck of the RGDR4427 are KTS TITANIUM rods, which offer incredible reinforcement, stability, and increased natural sustain.
