With the Ibanez RGD61ALMS you get a stunning example of just whar the Axion Label range is capable of. Featuring a 3 piece layered body of Ash & Nyatoh at the back and Flamed Maple on top, alongside a multi-scale 5pc Nitro Wizard neck, this guitar both looks and plays like it means serious business.
Due to the nature of the popular RGD guitar shape, each of the body woods used on the Ibanez RGD61ALMS are visible at various points, giving the guitar that much-coveted boutique "laminated body" look.
Multi-Scale Neck
Specially-designed to provide you with an equalised amount of tension across all 6 strings, the fanned-fret neck on the RGD61ALMS might take you a moment to get to grips with. Don't let this put you off though, as it ultimately provides an incredibly comfortable playing experience with superior levels of tonal accuracy, especially if you drop-tune.
As if that wasn't enough, the Nickel frets on this neck have been Sub Zero treated, allowing them to stand up against even the hardest of riffing and string bending with east.
Fishman Fluence
The new pickup of choice amongst the progressive metal community, Fishman Fluence Humbuckers are a modern design that feature an overall aggressive tone and powrful attack, without any excess noise.
While there many only be a Volume control for these pickups, it's worth noting that you can change the voice any time you would like from an active high output sound, to a crisp, clean and fluid tone.
