With the RGD3127-PWF you have a 7-string RGD-style Prestige range guitar that has been constructed with precision, performance, and playability in mind. This guitar features a 26.5" scale length, lightweight basswood body, silky-smooth Wizard-7 neck with birdseye Maple fretboard, DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, chrome hardware, and even a hardshell case to keep it safe!
DiMarzio Fusion Edge Pickups
After extensive close-collaboration with Ibanez, DiMarzio came up with the Fusion Edge pickups. These powerful humbuckers have been specially engineered to produce a distinctive tone, with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end, but without any muddy mid-range.
Wizard-7 Neck
Ibanez's legendary super-thin Wizard neck has been given an upgrade. Still featuring the ultra-playability of the original, the Wizard-7 is specially constructed for 7-string guitars, with road-tested durability in mind, ensuring consistent performances night after night.
Tremolo Bridge
Edge tremolo bridges are favoured by metal-musicians the World over, and are widely regarded as some of the best in the business. The Lo-Pro edge features a streamlined profile with recessed fine stuners, and locking studs, offering you an unobtrusive fixture that provides maximum playing comfort and an optimal amount of tuning stability.
Exotic Wood Fingerboard
Sitting pretty on top of the Wizard-7 neck is a gorgeous cut of Birds Eye Maple, adorned with jumbo frets that have been given Prestige fret edge treatment, offering you the smoothest playing experience available.
