High Performance
As with all Ibanez RG guitars, the RGA61AL is expertly crafted to combine high-performance capabilities with superior levels of comfort. The lightweight body is contoured to sit nicely against you whether you play sitting down or standing, and the dual cutaways grant you easy access to each and every fret.
Attached to the body is a super-fast Nitro Wizard neck. These necks are renowned the world over for combining an ultra-thin, lightweight construction, with superior levels of rigidity and natural sustain, making them ideal for playing at breakneck speeds.
Bareknuckle Aftermath
Fast-emerging as one of the most sought-after modern pickups by metal-players the world over, the Bareknuckle Aftermath are renowned for delivering a bright and wickedly expressive tone.
These pickups transmit a quick bottom-end response, making them ideal for fast riffing and staccato picking techniques.
In addition to this, the Coil-Tap switch allows you to change between the pickup's full output (for a modern voice) or a lower output signal (for a vintage tone).
Premium Hardware
As if all of that wasn't enough, the RGA61AL also comes complete with some top-notch hardware, such as the Gibraltar Standard II bridge, which provides optimal levels of string vibration transference to the guitar's body.
In addition to this there's a set of Gotoh locking tuners, for accurate tuning levels and faster string changes, and a set of Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins, which ensure your strap is held securely in place as you perform.
