Premium-Grade Construction
With the Ibanez RGA60AL you get a low gloss-finished Ash body, with a super-fast Nitro Wizard neck attached, and a set of powerful Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups.
Designed for rock-solid performances at break-neck speeds, this guitar might be lightweight but it can certainly take whatever you throw at it.
Wizard Neck
Renowned for its ultra-playability, the Wizard Neck found on the Ibanez RGA60AL is the go-to neck of choice for many metal players the world over. Constructed from Panga Panga and Walnut for extra rigidity and natural sustain, and adorned with Sub Zero treated frets and a bound Ebony fingerboard, this neck is built to handle all of the heavy riffing and extreme bends you can conceive of.
Bare Knuckle Aftermath Humbuckers
An emerging favourite amongst the world's metal-guitar community, the high-powered Bare Knuckle Aftermaths produce a bright and expressive tone, with a quick bottom-end response. They also retain a precise high-end articulation, which makes them perfect for fast riffing and picking techniques even with high-gain distortion settings.
To further enhance the viability of these pickups, the guitar comes complete with a Coil Tap switch. This switch effectively splits the Humbuckers into Single Coil pickups, giving you a versatile range of tones to play around with, whether you're playing clean or effect-laden.
High-Quality Hardware
Inspired by arguably the most popular bridge that Ibanez have ever utilised, the Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge provides you with that same incredible level of tuning stability and intonation adjustment.
This is complimented by a combination of Gotoh locking tuners and a locking nut, ensuring that you can not only perform fast string changes and efficient re-tunes, but once in tune and locked, you can perform any amount of tremolo divebombs without fear of going out of tune.
A nice finishing touch to the guitar is the addition of a set of Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins. These hold your guitar strap securely in place, making sure you can play as energetically as you like, while never have to worry about the strap slipping off and your guitar dropping to the floor.
