Great Craftsmanship
Basswood has been used for the body of the Ibanez RG550DX with the distinctive RG profile giving you sharp horned cutaways that grant easy access to the upper frets.
Made using five glued, solid pieces of Maple and Walnut woods, the Super Wizard neck boasts incredible stability and super smooth playability.
The neck holds a highly playable bound Granadillo fretboard with striking sharktooth style inlays.
Awesome Electronics and High Quality Hardware
With an HSH configuration, the RG550DX has a wide range of tones, making it incredibly versatile. There’s a V7 neck pickup, an S1 middle pickup and a V8 in the bridge pickup position.
Master Volume and Master Tone controls allow for quick dialling in of your preferred sound while a 5-way pickup selector switch allows you to use the pickups exactly how you like.
A classic Edge tremolo bridge has been fitted to the body of the RG550DX so you can deliver some seriously expressive and dynamic performances with your strings returning to perfect tuning.
