Maple has been used for the back and sides while the popular tone wood, spruce, has been used for the top, giving you bright and mellow tones.
The semi-acoustic body of the Ibanez LGB300 features a single cutaway granting easy access to the higher frets.
Attached to the Ibanex LGB300's body is a slim 3pc maple LGB300 set-in neck which offers fast and comfortable playing.
Atop the neck is an ebony fretboard which allows for tight and low mid range with quick response and enhanced sustain.
The 22 medium frets benefit from a Prestige fret edge treatment so you get beautifully smooth, incredibly comfortable playability.
Awesome Electronics
Driving the voice of the Ibanez LGB300 George Benson signature guitar is a pair of Super 58 humbucking pickups.
These humbuckers give you the smooth, clean tones you need for jazz but have all the growl you need for biting blues.
A three-way pickup switch lets you use both pickups together or either one alone.
Two volume and two tone controls are on board and feature Sure Grip III knobs giving you precise control with excellent non-slip functionality, not to menntion the streamlined, classic aesthetics.
High Quality Hardware
On the body of the Ibanez LGB300 you'll find an ebony bridge providing excellent transfer of string energy to the spruce top. This is backed up by an orante LGB300 tailpiece which further adds to the gorgeous looks of this fantastic semi-acoustic guitar.
Up on the headstock, there are six Gotoh SG510 machine heads which provide you with incredibly precise tuning and an amazingly smooth feel.
