Despite using the legendary Ibanez RGA as an initial building block for this signature guitar, the JBM10FX comes complete with plenty of new features designed to offer the best playing experience.
Whether it's the Maple Wizard III neck allowing warp-speed fingerboard work, the Mahogany and Maple body, or the JB signature DiMarzio Titan pickups we're talking about, it all adds up to one thing: high-performance at any level.
DiMarzio Titan Pickups
Developed by DiMarzio in line with Jake's needs, and made especially for his signature guitars, the DiMarzio Titan neck and bridge humbuckers are something else.
Sitting in the neck position you have a humbucker that is both punchy and fat sounding, but which can handle a swathe of effects without ever losing its clarity.
With the bridge position pickup you have a tight-sounding humbucker that features a versatile array of dynamics, but which still features all of the aggressiveness and mid-range required for heavy palm-muting techniques.
Premium Hardware
Unlike other JBM models, the JBM10FX comes complete with a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge. This bridge works perfectly alongside the Gotoh MG-T locking tuners to offer a superior level of stability, whatever tuning setup you opt to use.
