The GIO GSR200BF is a sleek, lightweight and affordable fretless bass that both looks and plays better than most other instruments in its price range. Despite it's budget-friendly price though, all GIO GSR basses are put through the exact same rigorous inspection and set-up as Ibanez's more expensive models, ensuring quality from top to bottom.
Dynamix Pickups
The Ibanez stock Dynamix pickups in the GIO GSR200BF come as a "PJ" configuration, consisting of a Split Coil ("P") neck pickup and a Single Coil ("J") bridge pickup. The split coil alone provides you with that meaty bass sound that's ever so popular with bassists the world over, whilst the single coil produces a bright, "spanky" sound that's perfect for funk and soul music. With the excellent electronics system in the GSR200BF you can achieve a nice mix of both pickups, or each one individually - crank up that Phat II EQ control too to really boost your sound!
