The Traditional Electric Guitar Rewritten
With a sharp bevel cut body, the FR800 sits above the rest of the metal machines. Featuring a Wizard III roasted Maple neck and Pau Ferro fretboard providing a balanced tonal character from low to high end. The neck feels comfortable and quick to fret, making this instrument perfect for the fast playing performer.
With a luminescent side dot inlay making it easy to see on stage complimented by the black block fingerboard inlay and black headstock logo providing the visuals.
Bare Knuckle Output
The Ibanez FR800 comes installed with a set of Bare Knuckle Aftermaths in both the neck and bridge positions.
Delivering a bright and sharp expressive tone, transmitting a fat low-end response for picking and quick riffing along with a dynamic and sensitive midrange and precise high-end crystal articulation.
For a modern feel the coil-tap switch fires out the Aftermath pickup’s complete output or for a vintage tone, switch it over and get a lower output.
Ibanez Mono-Rail Bridge
The FR800 comes with a Mono-Rail bridge which transmits perfect vibrations throughout the strings-to-body and delivers flawless intonation.
The Gotoh locking tuners provide great tuning accuracy and allow for easy, efficient restringing.
