The Ibanez AVN11 acoustic guitar, seen here in an antique brown sunburst semi-gloss finish, is a Parlour style guitar from the Ibanez Artwood Vintage range.
Parlour Guitar with Thermo Aged Wood
Giving the AVN11 an incredible, vintage sound (and look) Is Ibanez’s unique Thermo Aged wood process.
Choice selected and seasoned tone wood is heated in a vacuum with a treatment specific to the wood type in order to release water and decompose any resin present within the wood.
The end result is Ibanez Thermo Aged wood which is light, hard and stable and gives you the kind of tone you would expect from wood that has been dried for decades, providing incredible response and great volume.

The Ibanez AVN11 has a Parlour body – extremely comfortable to play due to its smaller size body cand producing a really crisp and articulate sound.
Delivering size-defying volume and an extremely wide frequency range, the AVN11’s body has been constructed with Spruce X bracing with a Thermo Aged solid Caucasian Spruce top.
Perfect for use as a resonating top wood in acoustic guitar thanks to a number of great qualities including its broad dynamic range and crisp articulation, the solid Spruce top makes the Ibanez AVN11 suitable for all styles of acoustic guitar playing.
Joining the body at the 12th fret is a Mahogany neck with a soft-V shape neck providing a comfortable grip for your fretting hand and on top of the neck is an Ovangkol fretboard featuring gold mother of pearl inlays for an extra touch of class.
Along with its Thermo Aged wood, the AVN11 features herringbone purfling enhancing the beautifully vintage aesthetic.
High Quality Hardware
Up on the headstock of the AVN11, you’ll find antique style chrome tuners with oval knobs allowing for easy tuning of the guitar.
On the body, there’s an Ovangkol bridge, with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins and a Thermo Aged Maple bridge plate, facilitating great transfer of vibration from your strings to the resonating solid Caucasian Spruce top of the guitar.
An unbleached oil-impregnated bone nut and matching saddle are also onboard, keeping your strings correctly aligned while enhancing tone and sustain.
