Constructing the Artwood AW54JR
The Ibanez AW54JR has a Dreadnought body – extremely comfortable to play due to its smaller size body compared to guitar styles such as the dreadnought, this model also produces a focused, articulate sound. Thanks to the cutaway design of the body, you’ll get easy reach of the higher frets.
Solid Mahogany has been used for the AW54JR’s top which gives you rich tonal characteristics with a bright and powerful sound while looking great too!
A Mahogany neck is attached and features an Ovangkol fretboard large frets making it easier to learn on.
The body also features a comfort forearm spruce contour, making for an extremely comfortable playing experience.
High Quality Hardware
Up on the headstock of the AW54JR, you’ll find chrome open-gear tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio providing easy and extremely precise tuning of your strings.
Down on the body, you’ll find an Ovangkol bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins working together to provide excellent transfer of vibration from the strings into the solid Mahogany top.

So you can easily transport your guitar while keeping it protected, the Ibanez AW54JR comes with a gig bag included – perfect for taking along to lessons and gigs.
