Constructing the Artwood AW5412CE
The Ibanez AW5412CE has a Dreadnought body – extremely comfortable to play due to its smaller size body compared to guitar styles such as the dreadnought, this model also produces a focused, articulate sound. Thanks to the cutaway design of the body, you’ll get easy reach of the higher frets.
Solid Mahogany has been used for the AW5412CE’s top which gives you rich tonal characteristics with a bright and powerful sound while looking great too! A Mahogany neck is attached and features an Ovangkol fretboard.
High Quality Hardware
Up on the headstock of the AW5412CE, you’ll find chrome die-cast tuners providing easy tuning of your strings.
Down on the body, you’ll find an Ovangkol bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins working together to provide excellent transfer of vibration from the strings into the solid Mahogany top.
Fishman Pickup with Ibanez Pre-Amp
Allowing you to plug in and play live and loud, the Ibanez AW5412CE 12-string electro-acoustic guitar features a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp.
The AEQ-SP2 preamp is great for live performances thanks to its easy-to-use 2-band EQ which allows you to adjust the bass and treble frequencies to get your preferred tone and a volume knob allowing you to adjust the preamp gain level.
What’s more; the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 also features an onboard tuner so you can tune your guitar whenever you need to – perfect for gigs – and you never have to take along a separate tuner.
Your live sound and studio options are expanded by the inclusion of both balanced XLR and ¼” output.
