Ibanez Artist Series guitars have become a staple of the Rock'n'Roll world for their tonal tenacity and striking good looks. The 2019 ART120 model continues the tradition whilst adding its own unique splash of style, with a single cutaway body and Cherry Sunburst finish.
Precision Playability meets Raw Tonal Horsepower
Like many before it, the ART120 inherits the DNA of Ibanez Artist Series guitars renowned for their versatility and diverse tonal palette. A pair of Infinity R humbucker pickups deliver the horsepower for savage rock'n'rollery, but dial back the gains and you've got a solid rhythm & blues axe.
For anyone after a mid-range axe that will sound great and stand out on stage - you can't go wrong with the 2019 Artist Series. Hopefully this will be one of many traditional single-cutaway axes we see from Ibanez in the near future!

Killer Tonewood Construction
The Maple neck and single-cutaway Poplar body are combined with set-in neck construction, providing massive sustain and playing comfort. The fretboard, made of treated New Zealand Pine, underwent an advanced seasoning process which yields a harder, more durable piece of wood. As a result, the fretboard enhances stability while producing a rich warm tone.
Double Humbucker Pickups
The open pole piece Infinity R pickups deliver well-balanced tones with dense, rich mids.
Super Stable Hardware
The classic Full Tune III bridge and tailpiece transmit string vibrations with a minimum of loss.
