The AE body shape is designed for optimal projection, tonal balance, and comfort. A Solid Sitka Spruce top provides a broad frequency range with shimmering highs, tight mids, and a full-bodied low end, while the Flamed Okoume back and sides contribute warmth and punchy mid-range tones. Finished in gloss polyester, this guitar exudes elegance and sophistication.
The 5-piece Okoume/Pau Ferro neck features Ibanez’s Comfort Grip profile and rounded fretboard edges, ensuring a smooth, fatigue-free playing experience. A Rosewood fretboard adds tonal depth, while jumbo frets enhance playability, particularly for intricate, single-note passages.
Onboard electronics include the Fishman S-Core pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp, providing pristine amplification and tonal control. The preamp features an onboard tuner and simple volume, bass, and treble adjustments, making it stage-ready and versatile.
