The luthiers at Ibanez have outdone themselves with the amazing Prestige Uppercut range. Surpassing the boundaries of what is expected from a traditional single cutaway.

The ARZ6UCS is fitted with Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups and a number of high end features such as the smoot neck heel, long neck scale and stainless frets.

Nailbomb Pickups

While the guitar is crafted in Japan, the Prestige Uppercut ARZ6UCS features pickups made in England by Bare Knuckle. Some of the finest pickups ever made; the Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups are hand wound in England and feature Alnico magnets.

Offering a huge and deep bottom end with rich, throaty mid-range and clean, articulate highs. The Nailbomb humbucker is the perfect synergy of old-school and modern rock tones and offer great tones from hot, fat blues rock all the way to aggressive thrash.

The Nailbomb simply explodes. For modern tones; take advantage of the full bore reaction of the pickup on full tilt or for a more vintage sound you can enjoy range of classic tones using the volume put to clean it up.

Prestigious Neck and Fretboard

The ARZ6UC features a three-piece maple and mahogany set in neck with a smooth heel for incredible playability.

The fretboard is ebony and features Prestige fret edge treatment providing tight response and smooth left-hand fingering.

The ARZ’s stainless frets deliver superior longevity with quick, bright and sustainable tone. The 24 jumbo-size frets offer two octaves of comfortable accessibility with lead players being able to take full advantage of the higher frets for the ultimate in creative expression and face-melting solos.

Heavy Duty Hardware

Specifically designed to lock down securely and prevent any kind of movement whatsoever, the Tight-Tune bridge and tailpiece are absolutely solid as a rock.

With each saddle locked into the base plate and the bridge being anchored by stud bolts going directly into the body of the guitar; they are ultra-secure. Since the studs are locking into the base plate, this ensures that the maximum amount of vibration from the string is transferred to the body.

Six Gotoh MG-T locking machineheads ensure that you get incredibly fast and precise tuning that stays tuned thanks to the incredible locking mechanism that Gotoh incorporates into their MG-T machineheads.
