100% Maple
All of the shells in this Gretsch Renown drum kit are constructed from 100% maple to deliver a versatile range of well-rounded tone.
Featuring the classic 7-ply Gretsch formula maple shells that are finished with 30 degree bearing edges, this 4-piece shell pack produces full, warm, punchy tone.
Known for it’s even spread of high and mid frequencies and its warm low-end response, maple provides a brilliantly versatile, all-purpose sound.
Whether you need cutting projection on stage or want full depth of tone in the studio, these maple drums are capable of doing it all.
All the Gretsch shells are finished with the exclusive silver sealer interior.
Copper Sparkle
This Gretsch Renown Maple kit is finished in a stunning Copper Premium Sparkle to deliver an eye-catching high-end aesthetic.
One of a range of colours available, this striking copper sparkle look delivers a shimmering pop of standout colour.
Created using a range of glittering speckles of varying colours, the Copper Sparkle finish ensures this Renown kit has a stunning look to match its superb tone.
The drums are fitted with all chrome hardware which perfectly complements the shimmering finish of the shells.
Gretsch 302
Each of the toms in this 4-piece shell pack are fitted with Gretsch’s player friendly 302 hoops as used on the higher end Brooklyn and Broadkaster kits.
These specifically designed 302 hoops offer a happy medium between die cast and triple flanged options.
Delivering the desirable focused sound you’d achieve with a die-cast hoop but with the lighter weight and reduced rigidity of a flanged hoop, these Gretsch hoops ensure the drums are able to breath with maximum resonance.
The result is a drum kit with toms that offer articulate focus but still maintain well-rounded resonance to achieve depth of tone.
The 20” bass drum is fitted with matching copper sparkle maple hoops to deliver strong hold, consistent tuning and clean aesthetics.
Sound Enhancing Hardware

The low-profile GTS tom suspension system attaches to the rack toms via the lugs to avoid contact with the shell.
Preventing shell contact ensures that the tom tone is not negatively impacted whilst still providing secure and reliable tom hold.
Both the rack tom and floor tom are fitted with low-profile brackets to again prevent the impedance of the shell resonance.
All the shell hardware features Gretsch T-Wing nuts and bolts which provide a strong hold to ensure solid positioning that will remain in place throughout your performance.
Remo Drumheads
The Gretsch Copper Sparkle Renown comes fitted with Remo drumheads straight out of the box to ensure superb sound and robust durability.
The toms feature Clear Emperor Batter Heads with “Gretsch by Remo” heads on the resonant side.
The bass drum has a USA Clear Powerstroke batter and a Coated White Gretsch Logo resonant head with muffle ring.
