High gain power and lightweight comfort
The secrect to the G5622T Electromatic Centre Block Double Cutaway's sound is due to the chambered spruce centre block for increased dynamic resonance working beautifully in tandem with the dual Super HiLo'Tron humbuckers to produce an incredibly broad range of tones - from brilliant highs to mellow lows and everything in between. The centre block helps to minimise any feedback at all levels, giving you plenty of room to ramp up the output of the powerful Super HiLo'Tron humbuckers, allowing them to reach their full potential. This affordable premium quality guitar adds a modern edge to the classic 1950's sound that Gretsch are so famous for producing.
To make the authentic feel complete, the excellent Bigsby B70 vibrato unit works wonderfully alongside the Anchorded Adjusto-Matic bridge, allowing you the option of including vibrato/tremolo effects into your playing without affecting the guitar's intonation. To cap it all off the Gretsch Professional G5622T houses a classic style control circuit - three volume pots (one for each of the pickups, plus a master volume control) and a master tone control - allowing you to experiment with a number of combinations to achieve the perfect tone for the situation.
And finally, no Gretsch guitar would be complete without a range of stylish premium features and the G5622T doesn't disappoint. Sporting a pair of F Holes, pearloid "thumbnail" style fretmarkers, a cream plexi pickguard (with gold Gretsch logo) and beautiful Walnut finish, this classy guitar looks every bit as stylish as it sounds and would make a welcome addition to any instrument collection.
