BT-2S Pickups
Made especially for the Streamliner range of guitars, these high output humbuckers work perfectly with the semi-hollow body of the G2655T Streamliner.
Sonically they produce an articulately defined sound with a tight bass response, resulting in robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange - ideal for whether you're playing clean or with overdrive.
Versatile Electronics
In addition to each pickup having individual Volume controls, the Gretsch G2655T also features a Master Tone, 3-way pickup selector, and a Master Volume control pot. This opens up a new world of sonic possibilities, and adds a whole dimension of versatility to this gorgeous guitar.
Semi Hollow Design
Unlike a full hollow body, the Gretsch G2655T Streamliner comes complete with a lightweight Spruce center block running the entire length of its body, from neck to tailpiece. This block not only reinforces the body's structure, but it also helps to eliminate any unwanted feedback, allowing you to play at high-gain levels.
Super-Sleek Playability
Whilst the smaller body of the G2655T Streamliner makes for a more comfortable playing experience - especially whilst seated - it also sports a high-performance thin "U"-shaped Nato neck. This neck, along with the 12"-radius bound Laurel fingerboard, allows you to play as languid or energetically as you wish.
Bigsby Vibrato
If you want to further enhance your playing with some light shimmers, there's even a Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece in attendance. Combined with an anchorded Adjust-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut, these three pieces of hardware ensure you experience astounding tuning stability, along with accurate, slip-free intonation.
