Vintage Styling
Elegantly sculpted from Mahogany, the arched body features a chambered spruce center block to provide this guitar with heaps of resonance and sustain, right from the get-go - only further acoustically enhanced by the enlarged F-holes.
Brought together with an immaculate Forge Glow finish and accompanied by stylized pickup bezels, elegant aged white binding and a set of classic 'radio arrow' control knobs, this guitar is as tasteful as can be - combining understated vintage styling with a little modern flourish.
Precision Playability
Designed to deliver both comfort and clarity, the 'Thin-U' shaped white-bound nato neck is perfect for some fast-playing action. Topped with a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard, you'll experience playability like no other. Perfectly balancing both a modern and vintage feel, the thinner neck is ideal for chunky chord work or intricate riffing.
Complete with a unique Bigsby B70 Vibrato Tailpiece, add a little vintage shimmer to your sound thanks to this incredible addition - safe in the knowledge that the super-stable anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut will keep you in tune, no matter how much you feather the tailpiece.
Distinctive Tone
But what is playability without tonality? The folks at Gretsch know this only too well. Fitted with a pair of newly-designed Gretsch FideliSonic 90 pickups, these single-coils push this guitar to its absolute tonal limit.
Retaining the rich, warm tones of a traditional P90 pickup, these FideliSonic 90's combine additional definition in the top end to produce a more articulate and distinct overall tone.
