Featuring a newly-designed set of Broad'Tron BT-2S humbuckers, a high-performance neck, and a whole host of high-quality appointments, these guitars are ideal for aspiring professionals and relative beginners alike.
Newly Designed Pickups
Made especially for the Streamliner Collection, these high output humbuckers offer an incredible amount of definition, whilst retaining a tight bass response.
The overall voice the Broad'Tron BT-2S humbuckers produce is one with robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty mid-range - perfect for playing clean or with a little overdrive in your signal.
Semi-Hollow Construction
Running the full-length of the G2622 Streamliner's body, from the neck to the tailpiece, is a lightweight Spruce center block. This block not only acts as reinforcement for the otherwise-hollow body, but it also eliminates unwanted feedback, even with high-gain overdrive.
Versatile Control Layout
As with most Gretsch guitar models, the new G2622 Streamliner Centerblock features a truly versatile control layout. Not only do you get a Master Tone, 3-way pickup selector, and two independent Volume controls (one for each pickup), but there's also a Master Volume control too!
This particular control set opens up the guitar's sonic possibilities in an incredible mann, giving you a wide range of tonal options to play around with.
Built for Speed and Comfort
In addition to its lightweight body, the Gretsch G2622 Streamliner comes complete with a sleek, "U"-shaped Nato neck that's built to accommodate high-performance playstyles. Sitting atop this neck is a bound 12"-radiused Laurel fretboard, further enhancing the guitar's performance capabilities whilst adding more than a touch of class to an already stylish guitar.
Whether you want to take it easy and play simple open chords, or take it up to 11 and play blistering riffs and solos, the neck on this guitar will allow you to do so.
