Newly Designed Pickups
Made especially for the Streamliner Collection, the new Broad'Tron BT-2S high output humbuckers offer an incredible amount of definition, whilst retaining a tight bass response.
The overall voice these pickups produce is one with robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty mid-range - perfect for playing clean or with a little overdrive in your signal.
Full Hollow Body
Part of the reason this G2420T Streamliner produces such a big sound is the coming-together of those Broad'Tron BT-2S humbuckers with the full hollow body guitar design.
This body, along with its enlarged F-holes, help to produce an increased amount of acoustic projection, which adds plenty of depth and colour to the guitar's tone.
Versatile Electronics
In addition to each of the pickups having individual volume controls, the G2420T Streamliner also comes complete with a Master Tone control, 3-way pickup switch, and even a Master Volume control.
This control set gives you plenty of tonal options to play around with, and ensures that your overall output levels remain the same whichever pickup you choose to play through.
High Performance Playability
With the Gretsch G2420T Streamliner you get a sleek, thin "U"-shaped Nato neck, sporting a bound 12"-radius Laurel fingerboard. This neck is designed to offer a high amount of versatility to your left hand, allowing you to switch playstyles from languid open chords to blistering lead runs and back with relative ease.
Bigsby Vibrato
A combination of a Bigsby licensed B60 vibrato tailpiece with an Adjusto-Matic bridge and secured laurel base offers a high amount of tuning stability. The vibrato allows you to add a little expressive shimmer to your playing too, and thanks to the synthetic bone nut you can be sure of accurate, slip-free intonation across the board.
