New Broad'Tron Humbuckers
The new G2420 comes equipped with a pair of newly-designed, high-output, Broad'Tron BT-2S humbuckers. These pickups deliver that familiar Gretsch growl and pristine definition, and are perfect for both clean and overdriven amp settings.
Full Hollow Body
In addition to the fantastic new pickups, part of the reason for the G2420's huge sound is down to it's body design. This full-hollow-bodied guitar sports a pair of enlarged F-holes, which allow for an increased acoustic projection, adding plenty of tonal color to your sound.
Versatile Control Layout
In true Gretsch fashion the G2420 Streamliner comes complete with a control setup of two volume (one for each pickup), one master tone, one master volume, and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
This setup allows you to explore its sonic possibilities in a more concise manner than with most comparable guitars from other makers, which is what makes Gretsch such a popular brand with many top musicians.
High Performance Playability
Not only does it sound and look good, but the Gretcsh G2420 Streamliner feels fantastic when you play it too.
