Coming from the Gibson Custom Shop is the Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured Top, seen here in a fantastic Blue Burst finish.
Representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship, quality and tonal excellence, this electric guitar is a true celebration of Gibson and the legendary Les Paul.
Excellent Craftsmanship
As is tradition with the Gibson Les Paul, the body of the Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut is made from solid mahogany.
It is topped with 2-piece figured maple with its incredible grain showing up beautifully through the Blue Burst finish.
For a special take on the Les Paul, this guitar features a double cutaway for even better access to the uipper frets.
Old School Neck
Attached to the body is a solid mahogany neck with a 1960 slim taper for that old school playing feel.
Atop the neck is a classic rosewood fretboard with a traditional hide glue fit.
Authentic medium-jumbo frets with a 12" fretboard radius provide fantastic versatility, particularly for lead guitar licks with fantastic bends.
High Quality Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured Top is an ABR-1 bridge.
Designed by Gibson legend Ted McCarty back in 1954, this bridge set the standard for simplicity and functionality. Doing such a fantastic job, this bridge has remained the same throughout the years.
Found on the headstock of the Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut is a set of Grover tuning machines providing precise and secure tuning.
Custombucker Pickups
Delivering incredible tone with vintage vibe, the Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured Top is equipped with Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers.
Each pickup features independent volume and tone controls so you can get the mix just right.
Providing great response and precision both the volume and tone controls feature 500K CTS pots.
A 3-way Switchcraft pickup selector switch allows you to use either pickup individually or both at once.
