Top Notch Construction
To deliver that famed ES-335 resonance, the dual cutaway body on this guitar has been crafted from 3-ply Maple / Poplar / Maple, and features every contour and appointment that you'd expect to find on an ES from this era (late 1950s).
In addition to this, the Mahogany Neck has been carved with an Authentic '59 Medium "C"-shape, whilst the bound Rosewood fingerboard was attached using genuine hide glue, resulting in an authentic late-1950s playing experience.
Not only that, but the inclusion of a Mahogany centre block delivers plenty of natural resonance and sustain, whilst virtually eliminating unwanted feedback even at higher volume levels.
Vintage Semi-Hollow Voice
Custombucker pickups have been specially designed at the Gibson Custom Shop to recreate those prized PAF-like tones.
Due to the Alnico III magnets used in them, these passive, low-output pickups deliver rich tones, with articulate Mid and High frequencies.
These pickups work perfectly in combination with the semi hollow body and Mahogany centre block, for that classic ES-335 voice we all know and love.
