MDC Technology
Genelec's revolutionary MDC (Minimum Diffraction Coaxial driver) technology benefits from typical coaxial design advantages, whilst overcoming their shortages at the same time.
This designed consists of an integrated MF diaphragm suspension tweeter construction, minimising displacement of the cone and avoiding all sources of diffractions.
The end result is a smooth surface with no acoustically observable discontinuities between the tweeter and the cone, resulting in an incredible smooth response both on and off-axis, whilst being free from anomalies.
