    The Genelec 8040B model expands on the legacy set by the original 8040A monitor speaker - adding ISS power management technology to a loudspeaker that really does your mixing and production justice. As with all the 8000 series, Genelec have condensed the technology and performance of their high-end installation monitors into a compact, nearfield monitor more suited for home and project studio production. Minimum Diffraction Enclosure provides superb stereo imaging and achieves a very smooth frequency response, whilst Genelec's Directivity Control Waveguide enhances directivity and offers superb off-and-on axis performance. And thanks to Genelec's Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) power management system, you never have to remember to shut down your 8040BPM monitors again!
