Rock Solid Stability
The body of this bass is expertly carved from a lightweight piece of solid Swamp Ash, which is shaped to fit snugly against your body as you play.
In addition to this, the bolted-on hardrock Maple neck features a sleek Medium "C" profile shape, allowing you to play in comfort, whatever your playstyle.
This neck and body come together to bring you a bass that's just as suitable for complete beginners as it is for more experienced players.
The Holy Grail of Tone
Fitted into the bass's body at the Neck and Bridge positions, you'll find a set of single-coil Alnico pickups. These pickups deliver a level of clarity and sustain not usually seen in a j-bass, whilst retaining the kind of vintage tonal qualities prized by players the world over.
In addition to this, the JB-2 comes equipped with an innovative G&L Saddle-Lock bridge. This bridge transfers string energy directly to the bass's body, giving you a resonant instrument and bags of natural tone.
